Architects Dyer developed the initial concept design for the expansion and redevelopment of this luxury hotel in the New Forest based on the idea of the contemporary timber barn. A number of barn typologies were explored for the new guestroom accommodation, featuring unique roof profiles, materials and details to establish a more organic, ad-hoc style of development rather than a homogeneous approach.
