Hotel Meudon Masterplan, Cornwall

Following the first phase to refurbish the existing hotel, Architects Dyer were appointed by Kingfisher to develop detailed proposals for the expansion of the current facilities to provide a new outdoor heated swimming pool, a casual dining restaurant and  ten new holiday-let villas set within the wooded valley gardens. The designs of the villas were influenced by the heavilly wooded landscape and the steeply sloping topography to create a family of buildings which respond to the specific conditions of each plot. The internal layouts and external terraces have been arranged to frame views into and over the valley gardens to give the guests a unique experience of living in the tree canopies.
