Feasibility Study for Pandy Park, Bridgend

Architects Dyer worked with Bridgend County Borough Council and Tondu RFC to prepare a fully costed feasibility study for the refurbishment and expansion of the rugby club and community facilities at Pandy Park, near Bridgend. The scope of our services included developing the brief for the site with Tondu RFC and carrying out a comprehensive bilingual public consultation process with the local community and other stakeholders. Based on the feedback from the consultation process the brief was refined and a phased masterplan for the site was established.

The proposed improvements include upgrading and enhancing the existing playing fields and car parking provision to make them safer, more accessible and energy-efficient; extending the existing changing rooms to create a new multi-purpose community hall; providing a new full size 3G rugby pitch; and MUGA courts.
