Evesham Adventure Playground Association

We are delighted to be working with a very special local organisation which does so much for the community. Evesham Adventure Playground Association was formed around 35 years ago to provide a resource for children and young people from the surrounding Woodlands housing estate in Evesham. Over the years the building has been extended and adapted to meet the range of services that the EAPA provides. With the ever increasing services that the EAPA offers, the organisation has now outgrown the original building. The brief set out by the EAPA includes the addition of a new community hub on the site which would provide two multi-functional halls, cafe and ancillary space for meetings, parental support and drop-in community advice services.

In addition to providing much needed new space, the new building will relieve some of the pressure on the existing building and allow EAPA to reconfigure some of the existing accommodation to better suit its current needs and priorities. The future running costs and sustainability of the new and refurbished buildings are a high priority for the charity in order for the facility to be as efficient as possible now and in the future.

We are so pleased that EAPA have now succesfully been awarded funding through the Wychavon Community Legacy Grant and we look forward to progressing the scheme through the planning stages.
